Our kids may call us “old”, but we still think we’re “Young At Heart!” The YAH ministry of our church is for all who are 55+, and meets once a month. There might be soup and buns, or a special treat to enjoy, but there’s always updates on our “adopted missionaries”, and music and other special features.
And some of our favorite highlights of the year are definitely the annual YAH Christmas Banquet in December, and the YAH brunches held on Remembrance Day and on Good Friday.
We invite all of our senior saints to join us at our next GPAC Young At Heart gathering, which is our Christmas Banquet on Tuesday, December 15 at 6pm. Special guests will be Richard & Becky Szmutko! Tickets will be available soon.
Many of our YAH-ers also enjoy the monthly city-wide 55+ functions, when they gather with other seniors from various churches in Grande Prairie for food, fellowship and inspiration through music and testimonies. The next city-wide 55+ event is on Thursday, November 19 and will be at the Church of Christ at 10:45am.
